We believe we are called to serve this community.
Bags of Grace is an Outreach Initiative that gives you the opportunity to give back to our community. Each month, we partner with a local, non-profit organization and collect donations that will best meet the organization’s needs. Throughout the month of August we are donating to Wooden Nickel. This organization is a program in select low income KISD schools, which encourages parent and student involvement with the school and the education process. This allows parents to earn points to buy items they need. Please use the list below as a guide for the items you will purchase and donate for this months Bags of Grace.
To donate to Bags of Grace, simply purchase any of the items from the Wish List below and drop them off no later than August 28th. Items can be dropped off in the Worship Center on Sunday mornings, before and after services, or left at our designated drop-off box, located in the front entrance of our Kids Building. The entrance to this building is open Monday through Thursday, from 9 AM to 5 PM.
To be involved with Bags of Grace virtually, click this box and it will take you to Amazon. We have a registry of all of the listed items for The Wooden Nickel organization. All you have to do is add the items that you want to purchase to your cart and purchase them. When it asks you for an address press the one that says Grace Christian Center’s Gift Registry Address and it will ship your items to the church. All donations will need to be be shipped by August 29th to ensure that the organization will receive the items that you purchased.

By supporting our community leaders, we are setting up our community to grow and thrive. When the community is doing well, the citizens can expect safer environments, more job opportunities and less stress in their lives.
We believe the root cause of many of society’s problems is a loss of a healthy home environment. When people face problems at home, it affects every area of their life. When a couple has a healthy marriage, they do better physically, emotionally and financially. When a child grows up in a healthy family, they perform better in school, have healthier relationships and are less likely to end up in poverty in adulthood.
When someone experiences a crisis, their whole world is turned upside down. Suddenly they find themselves in need of even the most basic things like shelter, food, water and clothing. When they are able to have those needs met, they are able to think more clearly, take steps to come out of the crisis and get back on the road to restoration.
